The Artists' Association of Finland and its member associations are currently engaged in exploratory discussions about a possible merger. The discussion is based on Roadmap for the Potential Merger of Organisations in the Visual Arts Industry (English version in link), which was completed in the spring. The reason for this project has been the need to improve the status of visual artists and visual arts in society. At this stage, no organization has committed to integration.
