Additional open telephone hours with our legal adviser will be available during autumn 2026, enabling us to respond to the legal advice needs of more artists than before.
The Finnish Artists’ Association’s legal adviser, Briitta Kuokkanen, is normally available on Tuesdays (open telephone hour from 10 to 11 a.m., and telephone consultations by appointment from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.).
In addition, the telephone advice service will be available on the following dates during autumn 2026:
- 13 August 2026
- 16 September 2026
- 14 October 2026
- 18 November 2026
- 16 December 2026
On these additional advice days, the legal adviser will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This represents a significant expansion of the telephone advice service.

The additional legal advice resource has been made possible through project funding from the Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation, as part of the development work carried out by organisations representing visual artists.
Through the Rethinking the future: Proposals for a new visual artist’s association project, participating organisations are developing their operations to meet future needs and piloting new forms of collaboration. The aim is to strengthen services, communications and advocacy for visual artists.
