You are warmly invited to a joint event organised by the Artists’ Association of Finland, Frame Contemporary Art Finland, and Kuvasto, where the organisations will present their shared government programme objectives, the visual arts sector’s key advocacy messages, for the upcoming government term 2027–2031.
The goals address funding for the visual arts sector, artists’ livelihoods, internationalisation, and the operating conditions of visual arts communities. The detailed objectives are structured under the following overarching themes:
- Equal funding for the visual arts
- Visual artists are entitled to remuneration for their work and the use of their works
- Making Finnish art visible, both locally and internationally
You are warmly welcome to attend, listen and take part in discussions on current advocacy issues and perspectives for the upcoming government term.
This is an open online event on 13th Jan at 9-10.30 am to be held via Zoom. The participation link is available here. The event language is Finnish, but questions may also be asked and discussions held in English.
