OPEN CALL: CoArt Ceramic Residency in Finland
CoArt Österbotten Residency invites ceramic artists or duo to apply for a 3-month community-based residency (Oct–Dec 2026) at Malakta Art Factory in western Finland. They are looking for artists interested in engaging with local communities through workshops, open studios, and shared artistic exchange (approx. 1 activity/week).
What’s included:
- Accommodation in an artist community on the rural countryside
- Free access to ceramic studio and other workshop facilities
- Support in organizing community art workshop across Ostrobothnia
- A daily grant of 11€
What’s expected:
- Passion for ceramics and community art
- Language skills: English required if no Swedish.
- Weekly community engagement activities. The residency will help with the organizing
- Application must include a community-focused work plan.
- Driver’s license and health insurance required/recommended.
